About the episode

This podcast episode, hosted by Lu Ngo and joined by Adam, started when he defined well-being. For his personal definition, it means having prosperity that includes good physical, emotional, and mental health. He said that having good relationships with other people and enough money enables you to have a good life and enough time to enjoy all of these things. Finding a way to have a healthy level of all these things can contribute to a person’s well-being.

Adam also shared that emotional intelligence and well-being are related to one another and that there’s no separation between them. He cited the example that if someone has good emotional health, they can be more productive. The more productive a person is, the more likely to have better well-being.

In addition, Adam said that it is crucial to have an accurate understanding of the scenarios in life when it comes to making decisions because having good emotional intelligence means understanding what impacts occur once you make a certain decision.

In conclusion

Well-being is how a human is overall satisfied with life. And enhancing emotional intelligence gives you the ability to control thought processes, which leads to the ability to control feelings.
