About the episode

In this episode of Sero Boost, Sonya Matejko defines happiness as a state that exceeds contentment, where one feels a sense of overflowing joy and fulfillment. She suggests that people assess whether they feel content and stable before aiming for happiness. She also notes that constantly trying to maintain a state of overflowing happiness can be harmful, as it may lead to overzealous behavior.

Sonya addresses common misconceptions about happiness, cautioning against the idea that we should always strive for extreme happiness. She believes that while embracing happiness is important, it is crucial to come back to a balanced, grounded state. She also discusses how to begin letting go of grudges and move toward greater happiness.

Sonya introduces journaling as a powerful tool for addressing grudges, including writing letters to those involved without necessarily sending them, as well as letters to past versions of oneself. She also highlights the importance of recognizing the emotions tied to grudges. She also encourages self-reflection and accountability, which can lead to more productive conversations with those involved.

In conclusion

This episode highlights practical strategies for releasing grudges and fostering emotional growth. Sonya Matejko’s insights on journaling, meditation, and self-reflection offer valuable tools for navigating personal conflicts.
