About the episode

The conversation started when Lu Ngo, the host, and Luis talked about flow. According to Luis, flow is a state where a person actually loses their inner critic and becomes so relaxed, focused, and immersed that time doesn’t exist anymore.

Additionally, Luis shared some practices to cultivate the state of flow—by concentrating. In order to concentrate, you have to pay deep attention to one thing. Once you know how to do that, you can practice contemplation, and he said that contemplation is beautiful because it’s just about staying a bit longer with your focus, with your concentration, and at some point, something is going to happen.

In conclusion

Bringing the concept of flow into your daily life can help you stay present as you continue to grow. Also, in a flow state, you’ll be able to develop a sense of calm, self-regulation, and mindfulness, which are helpful for your overall well-being.
