About the episode

The conversation started between the host, Adity Kutty, and Dianne when the latter defined personal development as the processes that really help you evolve, have self-awareness,

and enable you to be fulfilled and have your own inner peace. She also mentioned three main challenges to attaining personal development, including fear, discipline, and motivation.

Then Dianne discussed social media content where different people use apps for different purposes, which could be personal or business-related. Though the use of social media carries pressure, she said that this could be avoided; you don’t have to be involved in the discussion or posts if that doesn’t suit you or your brand; however, if it’s something dear to you, you can work on it in other ways that don’t have to be everything on social media.

She also shared some practical tips on how one can deal with mental blocks and fears around social media, such as journaling, meditating, etc.

In conclusion

As many people rely on social media, unhealthy use can be harmful to one’s well-being. But the ability to self-regulate and develop good habits can be helpful when it comes to using social media.
